Spark Magazine
The fifth project is the designs I made in my Typography Class. It is called “Spark” and it is a video game magazine that has articles that reviews recent video games over that have been released. I was inspired to choose doing a video game magazine after seeing some of the trailers of previous video games such as “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Final Fantasy XVI,” and many more games. I read some reviews about how good each of them are and decided focus on creating a magazine about the current games.
About Spark
In my Typography class, I created my own magazine design called Sparks. It is a video game magazine that reviews some of the latest games back in 2023. The cover design for the Spark Video game cover was drawn in Procreate and it depicts Spider-Man and Venom confronting each other. The background is red with a huge spider web surrounding it. The next pages shows the contents of pages for each video game articles.
The articles were found online on a nintendo website were authors write the concepts of each known video games. The first article called “Spider-Man on PS5 has twice the Spider-Men and twice the emo”, written by Andrew Webster.
